I’ve been using Look Designer for the past three years. It has been a major aid in introducing an extra layer of creative color and contrast to my projects. For me, an important aspect that makes it stand out to some of the other solutions is the vast library of ‘profiles’ (if I can call them like that) of print stocks, negative stocks and even photo stocks. Nearly every project that I grade, benefits from a unique combination of these ‘profiles’ and the other technical parameters in Look Designer.
The plug-in works easy and robust. It fits perfectly into my node based color management pipeline and gives results of the highest technical quality.
