He has consistently challenged the boundaries of current technology, from pioneering developments in image scanning for ILM in the early '80s to serving as Vice President of Color Imaging R&D at Technicolor Digital Intermediate and contributing significantly to the advent of AI-based image processing techniques.
Josh's contributions have been pivotal; it's fair to say the industry's current advancements might not have been possible without his innovations. Among his notable achievements is the creation of the Color Decision List (CDL) system, which remains the gold standard for look management several decades on.
