About The Competition
Here at Colourlab.ai HQ, we love to see incredible work created with our application. Our vision has always been to build a tool that would assist in artistic expression.
In Color, the magic happens when art and technology meet, and Colourlab Ai is exactly this. Initially, we have developed the Ai Match engine to match shots, scenes, and timelines, but in the process of doing so have discovered an entirely new way to leverage our technology. Using Ai for look design and creation.
Now that we are releasing it publicly and have made a free Demo Version available to the world, we could not resist the temptation to launch a contest to discover what colorists would do with the application and also possibly discover some new artists coming to the world of Color Grading.
Everyone will be using the same footage and the same application to create and submit their work. It is a level playing field in which everyone has a chance to succeed. This contest is 100% about creativity and artistry, and the person to win should have the best idea and execution to match.
We don’t care if you are a seasoned professional or a first-time colorist. We are excited about the possibilities that new technologies like Ai bring to the table. It is just another step in empowering visual storytelling and artistic and creative expression.
You do not need to make any purchase to enter the competition.

Ready to Start?
The premise of the contest is very straightforward Tell us a story through a look. Colourlab Ai Demo is free, and it is quick to learn and fun to use, and you don't have to be a professional colorist to enter. It comes with a series of training tutorials and examples for look creation.
All contestants are going to be using the same footage. This way, the winner will not be the person with better or more expensive production, but someone with strong ideas and execution.
